Almost everyone searches Google to find a business, product, or service. Will anyone find you?

Keywords: It’s Not About You!

Most business owners make the same mistakes we made when we put up our website. We set up our keywords to be everything under the sun related to training and computer skills – based on OUR understanding of what we do. Well, we found out quickly (but not quick enough!) that people searching for computer training use entirely different keywords and keyword combinations to locate a computer training provider. If you find yourself shouting from the rooftops and begging people to visit your site, you’ve probably done the same thing. (If your website is nothing to write home about – that’s a different problem, and you should check out our WordPress class.)

How do I get ranked on Google (or any other search engine)?

The best (and free) method is to develop quality content. If you sell shoes, your company’s blog should be full of shoes and style tips. Business services? Talk about making effective connections and trends in your specific industry. Become an active part of the online community you’re trying to reach.

So how do I learn to do this?

Great question! Join Dr. Lisa Richardson as she shares on how to use organic SEO effectively to boost your website’s targeted, ready-to-buy traffic and analyze their behavior. Traffic isn’t enough! Your website must be designed to be user-friendly, easy to navigate, and deliver the goods you promised in your keywords. Get your seat now – they’ll go fast!
